Generic Debugging
Select break points in the code you're are going to run.
Run Maven in debug mode, e.g mvn-debug install
Attach the debugger to the running maven by selecting the "Maven" debug configuration created above.
Eclipse will now stop Maven at the breakpoints you have enabled.

Web-Harvest is Open Source Web Data Extraction tool written in Java. It offers a way to collect desired Web pages and extract useful data from them. In order to do that, it leverages well established techniques and technologies for text/xml manipulation such as XSLT, XQuery and Regular Expressions. Web-Harvest mainly focuses on HTML/XML based web sites which still make vast majority of the Web content. On the other hand, it could be easily supplemented by custom Java libraries in order to augment its extraction capabilities.
ANTLR (ANother Tool for Language Recognition) is a parser and translator generator tool that lets one define language grammars in either ANTLR syntax (which is YACC and EBNF(Extended Backus-Naur Form) like) or a special AST(Abstract Syntax Tree) syntax. ANTLR can create lexers, parsers and AST's. ANTLR is more than just a grammar definition language however, the tools provided allow one to implement the ANTLR defined grammar by automatically generating lexers and parsers (and tree parsers) in either Java (http://java.sun.com/, C++ (http://anubis.dkuug.dk/jtc1/sc22/wg21/ or Sather (http://www.icsi.berkeley.edu/~sather/.
Social plugins let you see what your friends have liked, commented on or shared on sites across the web. All social plugins are extensions of Facebook and are specifically designed so none of your data is shared with the sites on which they appear.
Facebook's f8 conference is shaping up to have quite a few improvements in store for developers, and we think we've come across another one: a change to Facebook's data retention policy. Yesterday, Facebook employee Monica Keller (who left MySpace to join the company last month), took part in a conversation on Twitter that seemed to indicate that developers may no longer have to delete user data. The possible change came to light after Gnip CEO Eric Marcoullier gently chided Keller about developers being unable to store any user data, to which she responded,
Hans Rosling reframes 10 years of UN data with his spectacular visuals, lighting up an astonishing -- mostly unreported -- piece of front-page-worthy good news: We're winning the war against child mortality. Along the way, he debunks one flawed approach to stats that blots out such vital stories.
With profound simplicity, Coach John Wooden redefines success and urges us all to pursue the best in ourselves. In this inspiring talk he shares the advice he gave his players at UCLA, quotes poetry and remembers his father's wisdom.
Building on the very successful 2nd edition of the eHealth conference series, the aim of eHealth 2010 in Casablanca in December 2010 is to bring together experts from academia, industry and global healthcare institutions such as WHO and ECDC to stimulate cutting-edge research discussions, share experience with real-world healthcare service providers and policy makers as well as provide numerous business opportunities.
Swine flu epidemics in 2009 demonstrated a breakthrough in the use of web intelligence harnessing and mining user-generated content in social networks and Web 2.0 tools for rapid healthcare information dissemination and outbreak detection. In addition, despite substantial budgets spent on eHealth in recent years, existing healthcare services do not sufficiently address the issue of patient privacy, trust nor the potential in e-learning and web mining for delivering 21st-century healthcare systems. The key topic of eHealth 2010 will be investigating a realistic potential of Web 2.0 and Web Intelligence in providing evidence-based healthcare information, assist in outbreak detection and control and provide quality-assured and effective interventions for patients and global users.
Detailed description of CVS system - including the modules file (shell command without being in the direcory of the file that is target of the cvs command)

The boilerpipe library provides algorithms to detect and remove the surplus "clutter" (boilerplate, templates) around the main textual content of a web page.
The library already provides specific strategies for common tasks (for example: news article extraction) and may also be easily extended for individual problem settings.
Extracting content is very fast (milliseconds), just needs the input document (no global or site-level information required) and is usually quite accurate.
Boilerpipe is a Java library written by Christian Kohlschütter. It is released under the Apache License 2.0.
The algorithms used by the library are based on (and extending) some concepts of the paper "Boilerplate Detection using Shallow Text Features" by Christian Kohlschütter et al., presented at WSDM 2010 -- The Third ACM International Conference on Web Search and Data Mining New York City, NY USA. PostgreSQL does not currently support inter-database joins BUT it does
offer Schemas which is often enough. Take each of your source databases
and toss them into two different schemas of the same database.

Softwareentwicklung braucht Profis.
The main objective of FLOSSMETRICS is to construct, publish and analyse a large scale database with information and metrics about libre software development coming from several thousands of software projects, using existing methodologies, and tools already developed.
Flare is an ActionScript library for creating visualizations that run in the Adobe Flash Player. From basic charts and graphs to complex interactive graphics, the toolkit supports data management, visual encoding, animation, and interaction techniques. Even better, flare features a modular design that lets developers create customized visualization techniques without having to reinvent the wheel.
Prey is a lightweight laptop and phone tracker that helps you locate, secure, lock and recover your stuff if it goes missing. Works in Mac, Windows, Linux and Android phones.
