Streit über das Freihandelsabkommen Ceta in Schleswig-Holstein: Die Jamaika-Koalition hat sich bei der anstehenden Abstimmung im Bundesrat auf eine Enthaltung als Votum geeinigt, die als Nein gewertet wird. Ein Anti-Ceta-Bündnis jedoch fordert ein klares Nein. Jetzt droht ein Volksentscheid.
Über 50 Prozent der FPÖ-Positionen, Grundsätze und Versprechen hätter inhaltlich im Interesse der österreichischen Bevölkerung bereits in ein zukünftig mögliches Regierungsprogramm eingebracht werden können, beim Thema der Volksbefragung zum EU-Kanada-Handelsabkommen CETA wird sich die FPÖ aber wahrscheinlich nicht gegen die ÖVP durchsetzen können.
Die FPÖ hat als einzige Anti-CETA-Partei in Österreich viele tausend Stimmen von CETA-Gegnern bekommen, die auf das Wahlversprechen gehofft hatten, über Themen wie CETA mitentscheiden zu können. Es kann sein, dass diese diesbezüglich vom Koalitionsabkommen enttäuscht sein werden.
Gerüchte und Spekulationen begleiten die Koalitionsverhandlungen, nun soll sogar die FPÖ auf einen geforderten Volksentscheid zum bekämpften Handelsabkommen CETA verzichten wollen - was dementiert wird. ÖVP-Chef Sebastian Kurz wird indessen von neun Landeschefs an einen Beschluss erinnert.

Das Freihandelsabkommen mit den USA ist kein Gewinn, Europas Hürden müssen weiter bleiben. Denn unsere arbeitnehmerfreundliche Kultur steht auf dem Spiel. Wir brauchen Transparenz und Volksentscheide.
