Political group. One goal is to raise awareness in the media of digital rights abuses. Just think - an e-mail must at least be protected as a postcard. It couldn't be that the administration now started to copy all information on postcards to be able to a
November 2005 Local newspapers should have dominated all of this interactivity from the beginning. They had the name recognition and -- through their print editions -- the promotional muscle to make their Web sites into unassailable community hubs. But th

As 2006 began, there were less than thirty known museum blogs; since then, that number has more than doubled. Today there are well over 100 blogs exploring museum issues, from a range of institutions and individuals across the globe. All of these blogs ha
The vast array of data points that make up "personal information" in the age of online media are nearly impossible to quantify or neatly define. Name, address, and phone number are just the basics in a world where voluntarily posting self-authored content such as text, photos, and video has become a cornerstone of engagement in the era of the participatory Web.
The more content we contribute voluntarily to the public or semi-public corners of the Web, the more we are not only findable, but also knowable.

There are raging discussions in our group about what the i in iRODS means? There is no consensus and even individual attribution to the letter changes day by day. Is it integrated, intelligent, intuitive, internet, invaluable or possibly incomprehensible? One of the main ideas behind iRODS is to provide a system that enables a flexible, adaptive, customizable data management architecture. Hence, we leave it to individual users to hang an explanation for the i based on their intoxicating experience, or most possibly based on irritating frustrations.
