Das Guidelines International network (G-I-N) ist ein weltweites Netzwerk, das 2002 gegründet wurde und mittlerweile 90 Organisationen aus 46 Ländern (Stand Oktober 2011) umfasst. Das Netzwerk fördert evidenzbasierte Medizin und Pflege, in dem es das Ziel verfolgt die Bandbreite unterschiedlicher Empfehlungen weltweit zu reduzieren. So gibt das Netzwerk die "International Guideline Library" heraus, in der Leitlinien aus sämtlichen Ländern enthalten sind.

Die Cochrane Collaboration ist ein internationales Netzwerk von Ärzten und Wissenschaftlerinnen. Ihr Ziel ist es, systematische Reviews zu medizinischen Interventionen zu erstellen, zu aktualisieren und zugänglich zu machen, um zu informierten Entscheidungen im Gesundheitswesen beizutragen.
Die Agentur der Europäischen Union ist für die Beurteilung und Überwachung von Arzneimitteln zuständig. Der Europäischen Arzneimittelagentur obliegt die Erhaltung und Förderung der öffentlichen Gesundheit in der Europäischen Union (EU), indem sie eine laufende Bewertung und Überwachung aller Human- und Tierarzneimittel koordiniert.
Das DRKS bietet die Möglichkeit, Informationen zu laufenden und abgeschlossenen klinischen Studien in Deutschland zu suchen oder eigene Studien zu registrieren.
